Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED or 2 years of applicable experience or Phlebotomist certification.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Shall perform venipuncture and skin puncture using standard procedures and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and skin puncture per standard procedures.
• Use handheld devices for specimen collection and monitor collection lists.
• Ensure STAT specimens are delivered within 15 minutes; document status and delivery times.
• Maintain thorough documentation and data for quality assurance.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and assist team to ensure continuity of care.
