Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of venipuncture work in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge specimens and maintain records.
• Collect and store specimens per established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and obtain samples with minimal discomfort.
• Ensure specimens are properly labeled, split, and transported as required by test orders.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and wear PPE as needed.
