BioReference Health, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood draws and specimen preparation with patient-centered care. The role requires handling specimens, labeling accurately, and complying with safety protocols while maintaining professional interaction with patients.

Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience is expected, along with valid Phlebotomy certification in the employed state and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the employed state is required.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and specimen preparation with minimal discomfort to patients.
• Label, centrifuge, and process specimens according to procedures; maintain accuracy of patient data.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures clearly to patients.
• Demonstrate venipuncture techniques with straight or butterfly needles.
• Ensure all test requisitions match specimens and maintain proper labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store them at required temperatures.
