Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of venipuncture experience, strong attention to detail, and good communication with patients. Monday–Friday schedule; training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen preparation per protocol.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens accurately.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients.
• Demonstrate technique with straight and butterfly needles.
• Adhere to physician orders and test requisitions.
• Package and transport specimens maintaining integrity.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and wear PPE.
• Attend annual department trainings.
