Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Lacey, WA. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, and collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, ensuring accurate data entry and patient care.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm with overtime and occasional travel to other sites. A WA phlebotomy license is required; prior Labcorp experience and strong customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State phlebotomy license.
• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• 6+ months of Labcorp phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• Able to pass a color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
