Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Aberdeen, WA team. This role supports patient service centers and client offices, delivering skilled specimen collections and superior customer service while acting as the face of Labcorp. Growth opportunities exist within the organization.

Expected schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with possible overtime and rotating Saturdays. A WA phlebotomy license is required, with preference for 1+ year experience and prior Labcorp exposure.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Washington State Phlebotomy license.
• Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Labcorp experience in phlebotomy within past 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
