Job summary

Labcorp in Danvers, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, while delivering superior patient service in a Patient Service Center or Client office.

You will handle data entry, prepare specimens for testing, travel to additional sites as needed, and participate in the PST incentive plan based on performance. The pay range is $19.00–$24.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
