Job summary

Labcorp in Worcester MA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for drug screens and tests, and ensure accurate data entry. Travel to additional sites may be required.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months of experience. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $23.00 per hour, with benefits for 20+ hours/week and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
