AltaMed Health Services in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Personal Care Attendant I to support participants across delivery of care. You will assist in food service coordination, center activities, and help deliver quality activity programs for all participants.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, bilingual abilities, and BLS certification. The role offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven community clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CA Food Handler Certificate preferred; must be attained within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with frail elderly and disabled population preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.
• Valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to participants across all care delivery platforms.
• Coordinate and prepare all food services, support center activities, and quality activity programs.
• Ensure recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs of participants are met.
• Accompany/assist PACE participants to and from outside specialty appointments.
