Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Personal Care Attendant I to support participants across all care platforms. You will assist in coordinating food services, support center activities, and coordinate delivery of quality activity programs for all participants.

Responsibilities include meeting the holistic needs of each patient and accompanying PACE participants to outside specialty appointments. A high school diploma and BLS are preferred; bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• California Food Handler Certificate to be attained within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with frail elderly and disabled.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.
• BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide support across the delivery of care for participants.
• Assist in coordinating and preparing all food services and center activities.
• Coordinate delivery of quality activity programs for all participants.
• Meet recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs of participants.
• Accompany/assist PACE participants to and from outside specialty appointments.
