Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Personal Care Attendant I to support participants across all care delivery platforms in a California program.

Responsibilities include coordinating and preparing food services, assisting center activities, and delivering comprehensive activity programs to meet physical, recreational, and social needs. The role also involves accompanying participants to external specialty appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• California Food Handler Certificate preferred, must be attained within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the frail elderly (Geriatric) and disabled population, preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.
• A valid BLS certification or higher is required per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to participants across care delivery platforms.
• Assist in coordination and preparation of food services and center activities.
• Coordinate delivery of quality activity programs for participants.
• Accompany/assist PACE participants to and from outside specialty appointments.
