Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents in a warm, home-like setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor safety, and document changes while providing emotional support and preserving resident dignity.

You’ll collaborate with a caring team to promote comfort, independence, and quality of life for residents in an assisted living community. Evening shifts and part-time hours support flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform essential caregiving tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CPR/BLS training is a plus and may be provided.
• Ability to work evenings and part-time hours in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility.
• Provide physical and emotional support while preserving dignity.
• Monitor safety and observe changes in condition.
• Document care and changes accurately in records.
• Communicate with nursing staff and caregivers about resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities promoting well-being and social interaction.
• Maintain privacy and HIPAA compliance; keep living areas clean and safe.
