Job summary

Americare Senior Living is hiring a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for Springfield Heights in Springfield, TN. The role supports residents’ daily living and emotional well-being in a home-like setting, with a supportive caregiving team and training available for CPR/BLS.

Shifts include the 2nd shift (2-10p) with full and part-time opportunities. Benefits include PTO, on-site meals, and opportunities for career growth within a recognized senior living provider.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.
• Friendly, patient, and positive attitude required.
• Strong listening and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
