Job summary

Wallick Senior Living seeks a part-time Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver at Oakleaf Village in Toledo, Ohio. You will provide direct resident care to help residents thrive, with a focus on safety, dignity, and independence in a supportive team environment.

You will assist with hygiene, mobility, and daily activities, respond to call lights promptly, and help residents participate in activities and meals, including safe transfers and positioning.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required or not? CPR certified is listed as a requirement.
• Must be organized and self-motivated to provide great care to residents.
• Effective communication with coworkers, residents, families and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Previous experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care community is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming, including bathing and toileting.
• Respond to call lights promptly and address resident or family needs.
• Encourage resident participation in activities.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and events.
• Assist with lifting, turning, and repositioning as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
