Job summary

Interim HealthCare of North Central Pennsylvania is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver in Beech Creek to help seniors live safely at home. Youft provide daily living assistance, companionship and meal preparation while building meaningful relationships with clients.

The role offers competitive hourly pay ($12.00–$17.00) determined by experience, with benefits including 1:1 client ratios, online training, tuition discounts, and health, dental, vision insurance, plus a 401(k) and Aflac

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active PA Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Valid PA drivers license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and good communicator; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meals and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document condition; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment and engage clients in activities.
