Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver to support seniors in Sunbury, PA. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help maintain safety at home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in PA.
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Valid PA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition for supervisor.
• Maintain a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities like puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
