St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children is seeking a Massage Therapist to provide pediatric massage under the HCBS Waiver, focusing on improving muscle tone, circulation and range of motion while offering physical and emotional comfort to children and youth.

The role supports a multidisciplinary palliative care team, ensuring treatment plans are evidence-based, outcomes are tracked, and care is coordinated with referring professionals and program managers.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current New York massage therapist license.
• Minimum 3 years serving medically fragile population; 1+ year pediatric experience, preferably end-of-life care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide massage therapy using evidence-based treatments to address patient needs and preferences.
• Maintain a caseload with timely, individualized assessment, planning, implementation and documentation.
• Develop a care plan with patient and family and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the palliative care team and refer to other clinicians as needed.
• Advise and educate teams, maintain confidentiality, and support community education offerings.
