Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a Certified Patient Care Tech (PCT) for night shifts to provide compassionate, hands-on patient care under RN supervision. You will perform assigned priority procedures, document in the EMR, and help with ADLs, vital signs, and basic life support, always prioritizing safety and patient dignity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent work experience.
• CNA, MA, CPCT/A, or PCT certifications preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• CPI/NCI-CPI crisis prevention training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned priority technical procedures and maintain a safe patient environment.
• Provide care services including ADLs, vital signs, restocking and phlebotomy as needed.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with RN/therapist and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Report abnormal findings and escalate safety concerns to licensed staff.
