Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related clinical area or equivalent training in a medical assistant, certified nursing assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician program.
• License/Certification: American Heart Association Basic Life Support-HCP. CPI required.
• Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist the nurse with basic care for adult and geriatric patients, including comfort, hygiene, safety, and environmental cleanliness.
• Complete documentation of patient related tasks and nursing notes.
• Assist with data collection for assessments: vital signs, weights, glucose monitoring, I&O.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness, communicate patient care needs to the team.
• Participate in patient rounding to boost satisfaction and safety.
