Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care and maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Record vital signs and essential data, reporting to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Support patients with meals, personal care, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with positioning, transfers, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform glucose monitoring per protocol.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the care team and follow PPE guidelines.
• Participate in infection control, safety protocols, and performance improvement initiatives.
• May be required to maintain continuous observation of the patient as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
