Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is hiring a Patient Care Technician for a part-time role in Medical Telemetry. The PCT will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support patient mobility under RN direction.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent is required with one of the listed certifications or current clinical enrollment.
• Certification in CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, EMR/EMS/EMT or Navy Hospital Corps training preferred.
• Experience or current study in RN/LPN/RT/PT within the last three years is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assist with daily living activities.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Assist with phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs, and IV removal as needed.
• Support mobility, safety, and comfort of patients per safety protocols.
