LCMC Health in New Orleans is seeking a Patient Care Tech to be on the front line of care, providing hands-on support under nursing supervision. You’ll collect data, assist with hygiene and daily needs, and help maintain a safe, clean patient environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and about 1 year of clinical care experience; CNA or PCT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• 1 year of Clinical Care experience; CNA or PCT experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in collection of data used for assessment of patients’ conditions (vital signs, weights, I&O, etc.).
• Assist with patient hygiene, nutrition and personal care needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Complete patient rounding to drive satisfaction and safety.
• Embrace teamwork and ongoing professional development.
