Job summary

LCMC Health's East Jefferson General Hospital in Louisiana is seeking a Patient Care Tech to join the frontline care team. You will assist with data collection, perform basic patient care tasks, and help maintain a safe, clean environment at the bedside.

You will participate in rounding, support patient nutrition and hygiene, and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure compassionate, timely care and patient satisfaction across shifts.

Qualifications

• Data collection including vital signs, weights, glucose monitoring and I&O as assigned.
• Assist with patient hygiene, nutrition and personal care needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in patient care areas.
• Complete patient rounding according to assignments to drive satisfaction and safety.
• Pursue opportunities for career development and teamwork in performance of duties.

Responsibilities
