Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech to be on the front line of care, delivering compassionate, data-informed patient support from bedside to nursing rounds. You’ll assist with hygiene, vital signs, nutrition, and safety, ensuring a clean, comfortable environment and timely care.

Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma, current BLS, and about one year of clinical care experience (CNA or PCT preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, appropriate work experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• 1 year of Clinical Care experience; CNA or PCT experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection for patient assessments (vital signs, I&O, weights, glucose monitoring).
• Support patient hygiene, nutrition and personal care needs and tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with patient rounding to drive satisfaction and safety.
