Job summary

Parkside Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents and gain hands-on experience while pursuing CNA certification. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, mobility, companionship, monitoring health observations, and maintaining records.

A high school diploma and teamwork and communication skills are required. No prior PCA experience is needed; training and development opportunities and a path toward passing the CNA state

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support safe mobility, transfers, and daily exercises.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and document vital signs and health observations.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records.
