Job summary

Assisted Living Services, Inc. is a family-owned Home Care Agency seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to support clients in their homes. This full-time role offers shifts from 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 8am-8pm, or 8pm-8am with flexible hours and weekend options.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, providing companionship, helping with mobility, and documenting client progress. Benefits include paid weekly, 401K, and training programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience working in a home care or healthcare setting.
• Willingness to comply with all legal and institutional requirements and guidelines.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Car Insurance (Required)
• Willingness to work flexible weekend hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic domestic services (meal prep, laundry, light housework).
• Provide companionship and engage in conversation with the client.
• Assist with mobility issues and transfer in/out of bed or wheelchair.
• Remind client to take medications.
• Help with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, brushing teeth).
• Change bed linens regularly.
• Assist with all daily activities based on client needs.
• Provide a caring, positive presence and respond in emergencies.
