Parkland Health in Dallas is seeking a Patient Transporter to safely move patients within the hospital using wheelchairs and stretchers. The role requires caring, service-oriented behavior and the ability to work with nurses, physicians and other staff to ensure patient safety.

Preferred candidates have healthcare or customer service experience and CPR certification within 90 days of hire. Training includes back injury prevention and proper lifting techniques.

Formación

• Prefer 6 months of healthcare and/or customer service experience.
• Must have current CPR Heart Saver card within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to read, write and follow written direction.
• Strong verbal and nonverbal communication with patients and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transports patients using wheelchairs, stretchers and gurneys within Parkland facilities.
• Assists in transporting critical care patients with clinical staff as needed.
• Maintains positive relationships with nurses, physicians and other hospital staff.
• Identifies ways to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
• Keeps up to date with training and compliance requirements.
