Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Part Time Patient Transport Associate to move patients between clinical and support areas using wheelchair, stretcher, or bed. You will handle patients with oxygen tanks and IV pumps with care, and assist with transfers as needed during discharge.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, BLS certification within 30 days of hire, and prior transport experience or willingness to train. 48 hours per two-week pay period, days shift, with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Previous transport experience preferred or is willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from clinical, ancillary, and support areas using wheelchair, stretcher, cart, or bed as requested.
• Transfers patients with oxygen tanks, IV pumps, drips, and other equipment with assistance.
• Assists patients in transfers between beds, wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
• Assists patients during discharge to help them get in and out of vehicles.
