Qualifications

• 0–1 year of healthcare or patient support experience.
• BCLS certification by end of orientation period.

• Strong communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients safely between departments, maintaining comfort and dignity.
• Assists patients in and out of wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds with proper technique.
• Communicates with nursing staff, physicians, and other providers to coordinate transport.
• Maintains a clean, sanitized environment for transport equipment per infection control.
• Follows safety guidelines for patient handling and transport, reporting concerns promptly.
• Assists with movement of medical equipment, supplies, and documents as needed.
• Provides excellent customer service, offering reassurance to patients and families.
• Documents transport activities accurately in logs or electronic systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular, reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
