Qualifications

• BCLS certification required by end of orientation period.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients in and out of wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds with proper technique.
• Communicates with nursing staff to coordinate transport needs.
• Maintains clean transport equipment and follows infection control protocols.
• Documents transport activities and updates logs as required.
• Supports patient care and adheres to safety guidelines.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
