Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, FL is hiring a Patient Transporter to move patients and equipment across the campus, supporting clinical teams with safe and timely transfers.

You will assist with lift assists, help patients enter and exit vehicles, greet visitors, and deliver supplies to requesting staff. No prior experience is required; a High School diploma and BLS certification within 30 days of hire are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients and equipment throughout the facility.
• Assists staff with lift assists and repositioning.
• Greet patients and visitors; provide information and directions.
• Assists with entering/exiting vehicles and transfers.
• Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed or neuro chair.
• Delivers equipment to requesting staff.
• Assists with removal of deceased bodies to morgue.
