St. Luke’s Health – Memorial Lufkin is seeking a Patient Transporter to provide essential transportation for patients and items across our campus, delivering a courteous, patient-centered experience.

You will transport inpatients and outpatients, verify patient identification, assist with transfers, monitor patient condition, and report issues, while keeping work areas clean and equipment functioning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required at hire.
• Basic Life Support / CPR certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Transport inpatients and outpatients to and from hospital areas.
• Verify patient identification and assist with transfers.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and report equipment issues.
• Observe patient condition during transport and communicate concerns.
