Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transports patients safely by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed.
• Maintains awareness of isolation precautions and protective requirements.
• Monitors patient comfort and status during transport within the facility.
• Relays critical information to staff on entry or return to department.
• Performs patient-related clerical, maintenance, and non-clinical tasks.
• Ensures transport equipment and supplies are stocked and maintained.
• Follows transport tracking software or dispatcher priorities.
• Performs other duties as assigned within scope of position.
