Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

• Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed using appropriate safety equipment.
• Exercise caution around IV lines, pumps, monitors, and other devices.
• Transport specimens and equipment as assigned.
• Monitor patient comfort, safety, and status during transport.
• Relay critical information to staff upon entry or return to department.
