Job summary

Mercy is hiring a patient transporter to move patients and equipment across the Medical Center, following safety and body mechanics guidelines. You will work with various departments and use Epic to track patient locations and equipment.

The role requires patient care activities and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism. Qualified candidates have 2+ years in customer service, BLS CPR/AED, and comfort using hospital tech.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience preferred.
• Healthcare or hospital experience beneficial.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR & AED required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients and equipment between departments within the Medical Center.
• Performs patient-related activities as assigned and uses proper body mechanics.
• Maintains PAR levels for equipment and tracks location with Epic.
• Adapts to sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
