Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Patient Care Tech to provide routine and assistive care under supervision at our Lombard, IL location. The role includes directing patients and doctors to rooms, assembling post op kits, and maintaining sterile equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred and at least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients.
• Current American Heart Assn.
• BLS certificate Required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, performs routine patient care tasks and assists medical staff with patient care.
• Direct doctors and patients to the appropriate rooms and setup needed areas.
• Unbagging and bagging equipment, make up post op kits, sterilize instruments and maintain supplies.
• Set up patients for required testing and keep waiting rooms orderly.
