Job summary

Talentify is seeking a dedicated Patient Transporter to support the surgical and patient-care teams. The role involves moving patients between care areas, assisting with post-operative positioning, and transporting specimens and supplies within the facility.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting readings, maintaining sterile techniques, and aiding in outpatient surgery activities as required. Strong body mechanics and CPR certification are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification maintained.
• Ability to transfer and position patients safely using body mechanics.
• Familiarity with infection control policies and standard precautions.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely between care areas using appropriate body mechanics.
• Prepare carts/beds for post-op transfers and assist nursing staff with positioning.
• Transport specimens to lab and deliver supplies.
• Assist in outpatient surgery prep and post-op tasks.
• Record vital signs and document patient temperatures, blood pressure, and weights.
• Obtain blood glucose samples and manage IV catheter removal as directed.
