Job summary

Singing River Health System in Pascagoula, MS, is seeking a Patient Transportation Specialist. You will operate SRHS transportation fleet to ensure safe, on-time transport of clients to medical appointments within the service area, assist clients on entry and exit from vehicles, and perform pre-trip inspections.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Class D driver's license from Alabama or Mississippi; Class C with P endorsement preferred.
• DOT Medical Certification required for Class C or higher; must obtain/maintain.
• BCLS certification must be completed and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Operate SRHS Patient Transportation fleet vehicle to transport clients to and from medical appointments.
• Assist clients with entry and exit from vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain required records/forms.
• Maintain interior cleanliness of assigned vehicle and equipment.
