Mercy is seeking a dedicated Patient Transporter to move patients and equipment between departments within the Medical Center. The role emphasizes safe patient handling, teamwork with colleagues, and accurate use of Epic to track patient location and equipment movement.

Candidate should have at least 2 years of customer service experience, a current BLS certification, and the ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of customer service experience required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) required.
• Ability to use hospital technology systems (Epic, pager, transport logs).
• Professional appearance and conduct in accordance with hospital policy.

Responsabilités

• Transport patients and equipment to and from various departments within the Medical Center.
• Ensure safe patient handling and proper body mechanics at all times.
• Maintain PAR levels for equipment across locations; coordinate with departments.
