Job summary

Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System is seeking a patient transporter to move patients between clinical areas using wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds. You will assist with transfers and discharge, ensuring escorts to the lobby when needed and act as a team member of the Lift Team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to recognize patients’ needs based on medical condition and age.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from clinical areas by wheelchair, stretcher or beds.
• Assist with transfers and discharge, including escorts to the lobby.
• Respond to transport requests in a timely manner as part of the Lift Team.
