Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in New Hampshire, part of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a per diem Transportation Driver to provide safe, courteous transport for our clients. This role supports daily operations and requires strong customer service and reliable teamwork.

Shifts are 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, onsite. A High School Diploma, BLS, and a NH driver’s license are required, with 1–2 years of patient transport experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Licenses: BLS Certification, Medical Examiner's Certificate for Fitness to Drive, NH Driver's License.
• Experience: 1-2 years patient transportation experience.
• Skills: independence, teamwork, customer service, communication, multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Follow Care Van schedules and communicate with staff about transportation.
• Assist clients in a prompt, courteous, and compassionate manner.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs to appropriate staff.
• Keep mileage and maintenance logs current.
• Follow safety protocols in emergencies.
