Mass General Brigham's Chair Car Drivers provide safe, reliable non-emergency patient transportation, based at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.

This role offers a 36-hour week with three 12-hour day shifts, onsite at 1575 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA, with no direct patient care.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Patient Transportation Experience 1-2 years preferred.
• Dependable and safety-focused.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Professional and courteous with patients and the public.

Mansioni

• Provide safe and efficient non-emergency transportation to and from hospitals, clinics, nursing facilities, private homes, and other locations.
• Help ensure each passenger has a safe, respectful, and positive transportation experience.
• Operate vehicles with care and caution while following safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, inspected, and ready for use at the start of each shift and after trips.
• Perform daily inspections of the base or station and maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Coordinate and perform routine vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Interact professionally with patients, families, healthcare staff, and the community.
