Job summary

NurseCare Transportation is hiring 10 experienced Van Drivers to provide non-emergency medical transport for patients across Massachusetts. You will ensure safe, timely, and compassionate rides to medical appointments, assist patients with boarding and wheelchair access, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–3 years in transportation, a clean driving record, GPS navigation skills, and the ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification or ability to become certified.
• Clean driving record and navigational skills using GPS/maps.
• 1–3 years in a transportation role preferred.
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide punctual, safe, and courteous transportation for patients.
• Assist patients with boarding and disembarking, including wheelchairs and securement devices.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report issues promptly.
• Communicate schedule changes with patients and healthcare providers.
• Comply with HIPAA and privacy standards.
