Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification is required with hands-on skills validation.
• Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias Training through the Florida Department of Elder Affairs completed.

Responsibilities

• Transport physically limited passengers to and from destinations in a timely and safe manner.
• Assist passengers on and off the van; handle medical equipment and emergencies.
• Maintain van in proper working order and report maintenance needs.
• Follow scheduled routes and adjust for changes; ensure safety and efficiency of pickups/deliveries.
• Collaborate with caregivers and community agencies; document pertinent information daily.
