Universal Health Services, Inc. (Hampton Behavioral Health Center) in Westampton Township, NJ is seeking a per diem Patient Transport Driver to safely move patients to inpatient and outpatient visits, therapy groups, and day/evening programs.

The role requires a valid license, CPR/First Aid, and a clean driving record, with a preference for 1 year of transport or mental health facility experience. Per diem position with a set weekly schedule; availability Monday–Friday for either morning

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.
Have a valid New Jersey or Pennsylvania driver's license in good standing.
CPR/First Aid required.
Have an acceptable driving record with no outstanding violations.
Must follow all policies and safety training as required.
High School or GED required.
Must be able to operate Hampton vehicles (passenger vans and an SUV).
One year previous experience transporting patients and/or working in a mental health facility preferred.

Responsabilités

Provide safe and timely transportation of patients to and from Hampton Behavioral Health Center, for inpatient and outpatient appointments, therapy groups and sessions, and day and evening programs.
Plan and coordinate travel routes to minimize transportation time and length of stay on the van.
Demonstrate courteous, professional demeanor with patients, staff, visitors and physicians while ensuring confidentiality.
Observe and follow emergency preparedness and medical center safety regulations and policies.
