Hampton Behavioral Health Center, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., is seeking a Per Diem Driver to transport patients to and from appointments. The role requires a courteous, professional demeanor and a safe, reliable driving record.

The position offers a set weekly schedule with options for morning (6:30a–10a) or early afternoon (12p–6p) shifts, Monday through Friday. Prior experience in patient transport or mental health settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid New Jersey or Pennsylvania driver''s license in good standing with state is required.
• CPR/First Aid required.
• Have an acceptable driving record which will be verified through the state DMV; no outstanding violations permitted.
• High School or GED required.
• Must be able to operate Hampton vehicles which include passenger vans and an SUV.
• One year previous experience transporting patients and/or working in a mental health facility preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe and timely transportation of patients to and from Hampton Behavioral Health Center, both inpatient and outpatient appointments, therapy groups and sessions, and day and evening programs.
• Plan travel routes to minimize transportation time and client’s length of stay on the van.
• Maintain confidentiality and exhibit courteous, professional conduct with patients, staff and visitors.
• Observe safety policies, infection control standards and campus regulations during transportation.
