Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Experience: no prior experience required; multi-specialty practice preferred.
• Knowledge: basic ICD-9 and CPT coding knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient registration, pre-certification, charge capture and coding as directed.
• Post payments, balance with day-end reports and manage patient billing.
• Greet patients, verify insurance information and assist with forms.
• Assist with scheduling, charts, and front office operations.
• Support billing processes, collect payments and liaise with insurers.
