Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a compassionate companion to support hospitalized patients under the direction of a registered nurse. You will stay with a patient for the duration of your shift, helping to maintain safety and promote positive relationships with patients, families, and hospital staff.

Responsibilities include observing patient activity, communicating changes to the RN, taking vital signs, assisting with hygiene and nourishment, aiding linen changes and repositioning,

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak, read and understand written orders in English.
• Ability to write reports in English.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• CPI within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Observe patient activity to ensure safety and comfort.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Obtain vital signs and report findings as requested.
• Assist with hygiene, linen changes, and repositioning.
• Document duties in the EMR and accompany patients to procedures.
• Ensure patient is not left unattended without RN coverage.
