Mary Washington Healthcare Incorporated is seeking a compassionate CNA companion to support hospitalized patients under the direction of the RN. You will stay with patients throughout their assignments, promote positive relationships with patients, families, and hospital staff, and help ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities include observing patient activity, communicating changes to the RN, taking vital signs, assisting with hygiene and meals, and documenting duties in the EMR.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand written orders.
• Ability to write reports in English.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• CPI within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously observe the patient’s activity to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
• Communicate with the RN and report changes in patient condition or behavior.
• Obtain vital signs and relay findings to the RN.
• Assist patients with hygiene needs and meals.
• Maintain a safe, clean patient environment and assist with procedures as needed.
• Document activities in the EMR.

AHA BLS CPR

Educación

CPI within 90 days
