Qualifications

One year of healthcare experience preferred.
Current BLS required on all clinical nursing units.
Strong critical thinking, service excellence and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with basic activities of daily living.
Maintain a direct line of sight with the patient at all times.
Accompany patients during transportation, testing, and procedures away from the patient’s room.
Establish a safe environment using fall prevention and infection control measures; perform room assessments.
Monitor patients’ physical and emotional condition and report changes promptly.
Intervene to prevent self-harm or harm to others and seek immediate assistance when needed.
